Disney Mania is coming to Colorado!

In September of 2017 I went to the Disney Gather in Raleigh NC. It was AMAZING! 500 stamps, plus hundreds of tabletop event stamps made for a VERY inky weekend!

Come celebrate all things Disney in an event laid out like the Florida theme park of letterboxers' dreams! There wil be approximately 450 Disney stamps in one fun and relaxing weekend! These stamps will be planted just for the event and will be collected at the end of the event. You don't want to miss this one!

The Colorado event will be designed similar to that of NC. This will not be your typical "hike a long trail" to get stamps. It will be set up so that you can get all the stamps.

Most stamps are stamped in black. There are a few in colors. Please follow the carvers color theme if possible. PLEASE, NO METALLIC INKS.

Stamps will be divided up into "lands" and "theme parks." They will be planted at various locations, at least one in Castle Rock and two in Parker. Some will be outside, some inside.

There will be a special Donation stamp available only for those contributing to the cost of clue packets, snacks, etc.

The event stamps and only log book will be available at check-in.

We will have Disney pin trading! Each participant will receive a few Disney pins to keep/trade. Feel free to bring your own from home if you are into pin trading.

There will be four night boxing series. All will be planted in Parker. Please complete your night boxing by 10:30 each night. These boxes will be in neighborhoods. There are dogs and they will bark. Stopping around 10:30 will ensure the neighborhoods will quiet at a decent hour.

There will be goody bags for all registered participants. These will include clue packets, trading pins, a pen, handmade journals to stamp all the images you will find, and a few snacks. Journals will contain 25 empty cardstock pages measuring 8 1/2 X 5 1/2. You might want to bring extra paper or another log book in case you fill the one provided. Papes are thick enough to stamp on both sides. If you are a letterboxer who only stamps on one side of a page, you definitely will need another log book.

There will be a table on The Woodsheds back deck for table toppers.

Still in the planning stage are dinner Friday and Saturday. We will either find a restaurant to gather at or do a pot luck. More on this in a few weeks.

Supplies to bring: Ink pads (be sure you have a juicy black stamp pad!!!)
Water bottle
Sack lunch or money to get food at restaurants for lunch
Hat and sunscreen for outside boxes
Hand wipes would be handy. Your hands will get VERY inky!

7/20 - Events have been added for the night boxing. Please sign up if you will be participating in this part of the event. This will assist us in planning for food.

Friday night boxes will ONLY be available on Friday. Saturday night boxes will ONLY be available on Saturday. We’ve added meals to encourage you to stay for night boxing. If you can’t come during the day, you can come for the meal and night boxing!

Jul 26, 2018: Update 7/26/18

Your gift journal has been increased to 42 pages which is 84 sides. You will not have room for exchanges or tabletops if you plan on getting all 471 stamps. The 42 pages are based on each letterboxer using BOTH sides of each page and not wasting any space. So if you like to spread your stamps out and only stamp on one side, you MUST bring your own book.

* Lanyards are being provied in your gift bag for your name tag and for putting your trading pins on.

Please consider bringing snacks to share during the day.

Stamps are at three locations. They are McCabe Park, intersection of Parker Road and Indian Pipe Lane, Parker, The Cowdrey Clan's home, 7150 Tremolite Dr, Castle Rock, and The Woodsheds' home, 22275 Laurel Oak Dr, Parker.

Night boxing dinner events have been added. Be sure to add yourself to these if you plan to participate so that we know how much food is needed for each meal. There are approximately 90 of the 471 stamps in the night boxing series. If you are vegetarian or have special food requirements, please let me know.

Aug 5, 2018: Clue booklet numbers versus AQ listing.
It’s come to my attention that in some of the series the numbers do not match up between the booklet and what is listed on AQ. Do your best on figuring out the names of the boxes. My logbook does match the AQ listing. So send me a message if you can’t figure it out. There is no prince charming. That box is Sebastian.
