Often, in the heat of the moment, letterboxers get carried away with posting on the letterboxing talk lists. As a reminder to think before you post, an anonymous someone uploaded this admittedly bizarre photo of a kitten being chased by monsters saying that a kitten is killed every time somebody posts more than once per hour. It’s a joke, of course, but now dead kittens refers to somebody who’s posting an abnormally large number of posts. (i.e. “Stop killing the kittens!”) Also see dead lemurs and dead gerbils.
